As the first CRO world-wide QED is using a local Franchisees to accomplish international clinical development tasks. We have chosen this architecture because it exactly meets the requirements of a lean functional service provider. The main reasons for establishing the franchise model is that we can standardise business processes and make operational synergies available to our customers much more easily. In addition QED's international operating costs are low compared to other international CROs and this cost advantage we are passing on to our clients. We truly believe in the power of small organisations since if they are smaller they tend to be more flexible and dedicated.
